Microsoft Surface Laptop 5, Surface Pro 9 now available in India: Price, specifications

Last month, Microsoft introduced the Surface Laptop 5 and the Surface Pro 9, alongside products such as the Xbox Adaptive Controller and Adaptive Accessories. The tech giant has now declared the availability of the Surface Laptop 5 and Surface Pro 9 for purchase in India.

**Surface Laptop 5:**

The Surface Laptop 5 runs on the 12th Gen Intel Core processor series, boasting all-day battery life. It offers options in both 13.5-inch and 15-inch sizes. The smaller variant comes in i5 and i7 configurations, while the 15-inch version exclusively features the 12th Gen Intel Core i7 series processors. Running on Windows 11, both models are offered in 8GB and 16GB RAM options with 256GB or 512GB internal storage choices.

Connectivity features of the Surface Laptop 5 include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, four Thunderbolt USB-C ports, one USB-A 3.1 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Surface Connect Port. The 13.5-inch variant boasts a battery life of up to 18 hours, while the 15-inch version can last up to 17 hours.

**Surface Pro 9:**

The Surface Pro 9 is a two-in-one device with a 13.3-inch PixelSense Flow screen featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. Available in two variants, one powered by the 12th Gen Intel Core processor lineup, and the other featuring Microsoft’s SQ3 processor with 5G connectivity. The Intel variant is offered in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB RAM configurations with storage options up to 1TB. The Qualcomm version with 5G support is available in 8GB or 32GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.

Microsoft claims a battery life of up to 15.5 hours for the Surface Pro 9 Intel variant and up to 19 hours for the Qualcomm version. Connectivity options include two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support for the Intel version and a SIM card slot for the Qualcomm version.

**Price and Availability:**

For the 13.5-inch Surface Laptop 5 base variant with 12th Gen Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage, the price is Rs 1,07,999. The higher-end version with 12th Gen Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, and 512GB storage starts from Rs 1,78,999.

The 15-inch Surface Laptop 5 with 12th Gen Intel Core i7 starts at Rs 139,999 for the base variant (8GB RAM, 256GB storage), while the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage version is available from Rs 1,88,999.

For the Surface Pro 9, the i5 variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 1,05,999. The 256GB variant costs Rs 1,16,999. The i7 variant with 16GB RAM offers 256GB and 512GB storage options at Rs 1,16,999 and Rs 1,67,999, respectively. The top-tier i7 variant with 32GB RAM and 1TB storage is priced at Rs 2,69,999.
